Yeah, the article is titled "T-Mobile G1 Walkthrough Shows a Smooth User Interface" I can't really speak to the actual UI, at least not the fonts the author of the parent article was bitching about, it is kind of hard to make out text in the video, and gizmodo's ***** flash player won't full screen, so thanks for that. He is correct about some of the text/background switching, but this would only bother me if a) it was in a single application (it doesn't seem to be), and b) I couldn't alter the behavior. I guess that when you are used to a company making all the decisions about your property for you, you forget that when a company doesn't do that, the default skin doesn't much matter. At the end of the day, the GUI is hardly what I am interested in, it is the extensibility and openness of the platform. best deal deal mobile phone xxx AM

@smacksaw; Oh, you can try - but at any time, if that child is in trouble because mummy hasn't thought this decision through very well and can't actually afford to raise this kid, you are responsible and have to pay. It doesn't matter what you agreed to - it's the right of the child, and the state will go after you no matter what crazy agreement you worked out with her. It's not her or your choice. The child will not have to suffer because it's mother made a selfish decision.
