I don't think everyone needs experience to be able to lead. I believe Obama shows he can lead through having his policies on most issues laid out since day one shows he is ready to lead. You can also tell from the decisions they made throughout the campaign how they will act during the candidacy. For instance NOT being controlled by lobbyists is a MAJOR one.
