I guess if your definition of a maverick is someone who changes positions like a political chameleon, tries to co-opt his opponents core message, and relies on the same dirtbags who smeared his character a decade before, then, yeah, he's a maverick. It's very disappointing because this election could have been a real turning point in American politics. A chance to leave the divisive Rove years behind us and focus on the issues that matter.
